Today ASUACE runs two academic scientific laboratories: the laboratory of Engineering systems in the department of engineering systems and ecology and the laboratory of simulation modeling in the department of computer-aid design and modeling. The laboratories face fundamental and practical R&D challenges, perform scientific and R&D work.
Their goal is to attract professors and teachers, candidates and students to deal with scientific and technical issues, improve material security of the university, increase its scientific potential and keep candidates and doctors of science in the university. In addition, the material and cadastre base of the laboratories is used in retraining programs of specialists for industrial and scientific fields in line with the state policy of employment.
Scientific and research laboratory «Engineering systems»
of engineering systems and environment department
The laboratory performs R&D work, develops and introduces new technologies in energy saving and power efficiency improvement in the housing and utilities sector, heat technologies, construction industries.
The laboratory is equipped with unique equipment, which enables it to provide such services as:
- estimation of required fuel consumption of power units;
- development of power saving activities and energy efficiency improvement at facilities of different functions;
- design of heat supply and water supply process diagrams for municipal entities;
- issue of facility energy performance certificates;
- drinking water quality research from different sources.
Young re-inventors of the laboratory regularly participate in competitions of “UMNIK” program, apply for innovations and receive patents.
Academic R&D laboratory of simulation modelling of design and modelling department
The subject of this laboratory’s research is mathematic and simulation modelling in social and economic systems.
The work plan includes scientific research, participation in contests to obtain grants and conclusion contracts for general services, publication of articles with the results of research in leading Russian academic periodicals and international papers with Scopus and Web of Science index, state registration of software applications.
