The Department of Construction Economics was established in 2010. Its main task is to provide professional training for highly qualified bachelors and masters in accounting, economics, planning, production management, company economics and industry markets in various industries and fields of activity, including construction, due to the needs of society in such professionals

Currently, the department is producing in the direction of "Economics" (profiles "Economics of enterprises and organizations" and "Accounting, analysis and audit"), a master's program in the direction of training "Economics" under the educational program "Economics of the company and industry markets" (full-time and part-time forms of education)

The department effectively work as experienced teachers with great production and economic experience, and young employees. For the comprehensive training of highly qualified specialists, the department draws on the educational process to employees of enterprises and organizations with industrial experience in order to increase the practical component of training students. In the educational process, teachers of the department use modern technologies and teaching methods in interactive forms.

The main scientific direction of the department is a study of the organizational and economic features of the formation of building management systems.
